Who Is This Formula For?

This formula is ideal for individuals with a Kapha, Kapha-Vata, or Kapha-Pitta constitution, especially when dealing with excessive mucus, nasal congestion, or a wet cough. It is highly effective for respiratory infections like pneumonia or bronchitis, where mucus production is prominent.

However, Pitta-dominant individuals should only use this formula if significant mucus is present and only for a short period to avoid aggravating the Pitta dosha. For dry respiratory conditions or those with little mucus, consider using the Respiratory Infection Formula (Low Mucus) #167 instead.

Directions

1. To use, take 1 teaspoon of the formula and dissolve it in about 1/8 cup of warm water. Add honey to create a syrupy consistency and allow it to slide down your throat without drinking water afterward. This method ensures maximum benefit to your throat and airways.
2. For best results, take 3–4 times a day, especially when fasting on hot soup made with ginger, onions, and garlic.
3. If symptoms persist, gradually increase the dosage.
4. Once symptoms begin to improve, reduce the dosage slowly until the condition fully resolves.
