Ayurvedic Colon Formula - Kapha
Traditionally used to support chronic constipation and sluggish digestion in Kapha types
100% Organic & Tested: Triphala (3 herbs), Senna, Cascara Sagrada, Guggulu, Trikatu (3 herbs), Vidanga
ABOUT FORMULA
This powerful Ayurvedic formula is traditionally used to support sluggish bowels, chronic constipation, and waste accumulation in individuals with a Kapha constitution. It is especially helpful for those with a heavy body type, slow metabolism, and weight gain around the abdomen.
Known in Ayurveda for promoting detoxification and enhancing Agni (digestive fire), this formula works by cleansing the colon, stimulating peristalsis, breaking down toxins, and restoring healthy elimination patterns.
Key Benefits:
- Stimulates bowel movements and clears blockages
- Relieves chronic constipation and bloating
- Promotes fat metabolism and detoxification
- Reduces belly heaviness and abdominal fat
- Enhances digestion and supports long-term colon health
This formula combines the gentle cleansing action of Triphala with the stronger peristaltic stimulation of Senna and Cascara Sagrada. Guggulu helps reduce body fat, while Trikatu improves metabolism. Vidanga supports the removal of parasites and toxins, making this a complete formula for Kapha-related digestive imbalance.
ABOUT HERBS
- Amalaki (Emblica officinalis): Rejuvenating fruit rich in antioxidants; supports liver and digestive health
- Haritaki (Terminalia chebula): Mild natural laxative; promotes regular elimination and clears Ama (toxins)
- Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellirica): Astringent and detoxifying; helps regulate digestion and reduce bloating
- Senna (Cassia angustifolia): Strong herbal laxative; stimulates peristalsis to relieve constipation quickly
- Cascara Sagrada (Rhamnus purshiana): Traditional western herb that cleanses the colon and promotes bowel regularity
- Guggulu (Commiphora mukul): Reduces cholesterol and body fat; known in Ayurveda for clearing stubborn Kapha accumulations
- Trikatu (Ginger, Black Pepper, Pippali): Spicy combination that boosts digestion, increases bioavailability, and burns toxins
- Vidanga (Embelia ribes): Traditionally used to eliminate parasites and undigested waste; supports digestive cleansing
Together, these herbs form a synergistic colon-cleansing formula that removes deep-seated buildup, stimulates elimination, and strengthens digestion for Kapha types.

TIPS & NOTES
Dietary guidelines:
Avoid heavy, oily, cold, sweet, or processed foods. Favor warm, light meals with digestive spices. Minimize dairy, meat, and wheat. Eat dinner early and stay physically active to reduce Kapha buildup.
Note: These Ayurvedic formulas are more powerful than teas, tinctures, or single herbs. Many blends contain up to 50 synergistic herbs. They are tailored for specific health issues and doshic imbalances (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), so review each product carefully.
For chronic or complex constipation, it is best to schedule a Zoom consultation with Khabir for a custom protocol and personalized dietary plan.
